The software reads times of observed meteors from a file, finds “pairs” of meteors, creates a large group of artificial meteor shower with the same activity profile using a Monte Carlo method, and evaluates the probability that the actually observed pairs (defined by different time intervals between successive meteors) are just the result of random coincidence. The output is a text table and two plots in eps format. The program is written in Python, using the math, numpy, scipy and matplotlib libraries.
