The book summarizes the outcome of a construction-history and archaeological research in the Sts. Nikolaus and Wenceslaus rotunda built in the second half of the 12th century. The monograph presents and richly illustrates many topics, includind the prehistoric occupation, the earliest medieval phase of hilfort, the appearance of the rezidence the seat of the duchy of Teschen and lates day related to the destruction of the castle.
