Cílem publikace Jiné klima – jiný les je pobídnout k tomu, aby se změnilo jednostranné uvažování a abychom nastoupili jinou cestu pro nakládání s lesem než jen spotřební. Přechod k neschematickému, přírodě blízkému hospodaření s využitím přírodních procesů v lesích je za nejisté situace klimatické změny jedinou cestou k dosažení vyváženého vztahu funkcí lesa na různých stanovištích a k zachování principu trvalé udržitelnosti lesa včetně biodiverzity.

The aim of the publication is to encourage to change one-sided thinking and to take different way for forest management than just a consuming one. Transition to non-schematic, nature-close management with the use of natural processes in forests is in the climate change, the only way to achieve a balanced the relationship of forest functions in different habitats and to preserve the principle forest sustainability, including biodiversity.
