V obsáhlé recenzi jsou zevrubně pojednány dvě aktuálně vydané monografie věnující se skladateli Mauru Haberhauerovi, OSB (1746–1799) a hudební kultuře benediktinského kláštera v Rajhradě. Recenzent srovnává obsah a koncepce obou monografií, které se mírně odlišují, a oceňuje jejich přínos ke studiu hudební kultury na Moravě druhé poloviny 18. století.

In this comprehensive review, two recently published monographs on the composer Maurus Haberhauer, OSB (1746–1799), and on the musical culture of the Benedictine monastery in Rajhrad are discussed. The reviewer compares the content and concepts of the two monographs, which differ slightly, and praises their contribution to the study of musical culture in Moravia in the second half of the 18th century.
