Ausgehend von dem Konzept des Übertragungscharakters von Vladimír Macura beschäftigt sich der Aufsatz mit performativen Effekten der Übersetzung in den Böhmischen Ländern des 19. Jahrhunderts. Am Beispiel der Übersetzung der spätromantischen Novelle Láska básníkova (Des Dichters Liebe) von Josef Kajetán Tyl und des realistischen Romans Schwarzgelb (Černožlutí) von Alfred Meißner untersucht der Aufsatz die konkreten Übersetzungsstrategien, mit Hilfe deren den Texten im neuen Kontext neue Bedeutungsebenen erschlossen wurden. Es wird schließlich auch das ursprüngliche Konzept des Übertragungscharakters der Kritik korrigiert, indem die Prozesshaftigkeit und situative, regionale und soziale Kontextgebundenheit der Übertragung betont werden.

Starting with the concept of “Překladovost” (Translativity) by Vladimír Macura the paper deals with the performative effects of translation in the Bohemian Lands in the 19th century. On the examples of a late romantic novella Láska básníkova by Josef Kajetán Tyl and realistic novel Schwarzgelb by Alfred Meißner the papers deal with translational strategies, which open these texts for new contexts and interpretations. Finally, the concept of “Překladovost” is adjusted for intercultural perspective by emphasizing the processuality, situativity, regionality, and social specificity of the translations.
