The study reviews the concepts of the “Hussite Reformation” as presented in previous scholarly discussions. Then it offers an overview of recent research in Hussite communication history, namely on oral transmission of literary and musical forms, preaching, spreading of written texts, and visual media. Based on their achievements in public relations, the Hussites/Utraquists are classified as one of the Reformation communities.
