This article aims at presenting the readers with the results of an informal work group composed of the employees of a number of professional institutions, which focuses on the subject of barrow cemeteries in the game parks of Hluboká nad Vltavou. Based on a comparison of known LiDAR data, it was possible not only to upgrade information about some known barrow cemeteries, but also to detect new, still unrecorded areas (components) with burial mounds and thus to evaluate the potential of the use of LiDAR data from the view of broader analysis.
