Kapitola knihy směřuje od kritiky a vysvětlení současného deficitního stavu sociálních a humanitních věd k potenciálním proměně. Snaží se propojit dílčí témata a artikulovat potřebný širší tematický okruh. Pro rozvinutou demokratickou participaci občanů a vědců je přitom nutná přinejmenším strukturální transformace současných společenských institucí, bez nichž se participace fragmentuje a jinak deformuje.

The book’s chapter moves from critique and explanation of the current deficit state of the humanities and social sciences to potential transformation. It attempts to link sub-themes and articulate the necessary broader thematic scope. At the very least, a structural transformation of current societal institutions is necessary for the developed democratic participation of citizens and scholars, without which participation becomes fragmented and otherwise distorted.
