Im vorliegenden Aufsatz wird gezeigt, dass Muzikkritiker und Historiker Ambros in seinen Texte Der Dom zu Prag (1858) oder der Essay „Prag und seine architektonischen Denkmale” (1863) die änliche Wege wie ein Kunsthistoriker Anton Springer verwendete. Dazu noch arbeitete Ambros mit der Thesie „des Idealmoments” mit der er dem Standpunkt des Philosophers der Kunst Friedrich Theodor Vischers sehr nahe kam.

In the article the author shows that the music critic and historian Ambros in his texts Der Dom zu Prag (1858) or the essay „Prague and its Architectural Monuments” (1863) used the same methods as an art historian Anton Springer. Unlike the second, Ambros worked with the thesis „of the ideal moment” with which he came close to the point of view of the philosopher of the art of Friedrich Theodor Vischer.
