Změna klimatu je způsobena lidskými aktivitami a některé důsledky se již projevují, dalším které nastanou, již nebude možné zabránit. Území Česka bude muset do budoucna počítat s rostoucími extrémy počasí, včetně vln veder, sucha a záplav, a bude se zvyšovat riziko migrace lidí z náchylnějších území v tropickém a subtropickém. Pro zmírnění probíhajících změn je potřeba omezovat spotřebu fosilních paliv až k dosažení uhlíkové neutrality. Začátek této transformace je nutný již v současnosti.

Climate change is caused by human activities and some of the consequences are already being felt, others that will be occurring will no longer be preventable. The territory of the Czech Republic will have to reckon with increasing weather extremes in the future, including heat waves, droughts and floods, and the risk of migration of people from more susceptible areas in the tropical and subtropical will increase. To mitigate the ongoing changes, it is necessary to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels until carbon neutrality is achieved. The beginning of this transformation is already necessary.
