Ucelený soubor 14 analytických studií obsahuje autorovy průpravné práce k dějinám husitského Tábora do ztráty jeho samostatnosti v roce 1452. Všechny studie byly doplněny a rozšířeny o nové poznatky, takže zachycují současný stav poznání počáteční historie města Tábora. Vedle základních studií věnovaných přímo táborské obci a jejímu vojenskému bratrstvu soubor přináší studie o skutečném věku hejtmana Jana Žižky, o táborských vesnicích v regionu Podblanicko, dále o vojenském bratrstvu působícím ve dvacátých a třicátých letech 15. století va Českých Budějovicích a o obležení Vodňan táborským vojskem na jaře 1443.

A comprehensive set of 14 analytical studies contains the author’s preparatory work on the history of the Hussite Tábor until the loss of its independence in 1452. All studies were supplemented and expanded with new findings, so they capture the current state of knowledge of the initial history of town of Tábor. In addition to basic studies devoted directly to the Tábor municipality and its military fraternity, the ensemble brings studies on the real age of hetman Jan Žižka, Tábor villages in the Podblanicko region, the military fraternity operating in the 1920s and 1930s in České Budějovice and the siege of Vodňany by the Tábor army on spring 1443.
