O německém protějšku Ženského výrobního spolku českého – ženském vzdělávacím spolku Prager Frauen-Erwerb-Verein a jeho školách nebylo dosud téměř nic publikováno. Proto předkládaný text přináší základní informace o spolku, o jeho organizaci a o výsledcích práce na poli vzdělávání dívek a žen v prvním desetiletí jeho existence. Primárním pramenem pro tuto studii byly výroční zprávy spolku Prager Frauen-Erwerb-Verein doplněné relevantní literaturou.

The text presents the Prager Frauen-Erwerb-Verein and the schools this German association ran, a topic which has until now evaded academic attention and publication. Elementary facts regarding the PFEV (which was the German counterpart of the Women’s Czech Manufacturing Association) are shown along with its structure and achievements in the field of education of girls and women during the first decade of its existence. The study is based primarily upon the PFEV annual reports together with relevant literature.
