Text se zabývá intertextovým odkazováním v komunikaci na Twitteru, konkrétně odkazy v tweetech českých politiků a novinářů a odpověďmi jejich followerů na tyto odkazy. Tito uživatelé Twitteru nejčastěji odkazují – vedle narážek na mediální texty spojené s aktuálním děním – na populární či obecně známou literaturu a filmy. Citáty z těchto pretextů a nejčastěji jejich titulů přitom používají jako komentář události či jiného textu, pretext nijak nově neinterpretují. Analýza všech reakcí na tweet komentující projev prezidenta Zemana citací ze Stopařova průvodce Galaxií ukázala, že většina followerů – ať již s použitím odkazu k témuž textu, jinému pretextu nebo bez intertextového odkazu – rozvíjí tweet, na který odpovídá, v souladu s jeho původní intencí. Repertoár textů, k nimž se v těchto tweetech obvykle odkazuje, způsob odkazování i to, jak followeři na odkazy obvykle odpovídají, potvrzuje, že komunikace na sociálních sítích slouží především utvrzování sociálních vazeb ve skupinách, které jsou co do názorů a postojů poměrně homogenní.

The article explores intertextual references made by Czech journalists and politicians on their Twitter profiles and their followers’ responses to these references. In addition to media texts on current issues, these Twitter users most frequently allude to the commonly known Czech and foreign literature and films, mainly comedy genres. By using a quotation or paraphrasing the pretext’s title, these Twitter users mostly only comment on an event or a text, but do not interpret the pretext in any new way. The analysis of all responses to the tweet commenting on President Zeman’s speech by quotation from Douglas Adams’ The Hitchhiker‘s Guide to the Galaxy reveals that in making intertextual references to this or other pretexts or by responding without intertextual references, most followers develop it in accordance with its original intention. The repertoire of pretexts, the most frequent forms of intertextuality, and followers’ typical reactions to them thus confirm that the communication on social networks serves to strengthen the bonds within considerably homogenous groups as concerns participant attitudes.
