Rekonstrukce budovy Školy architektury AVU v Praze (1919–1924) od Jana Kotěry a Josefa Gočára, dokončená v roce 2019, se spojuje s ideou „relativní“ autentičnosti její autorky Marcely Steinbachové. Článek sleduje dějiny pojmu autentičnosti přes Johna Ruskina a Aloise Riegla k soudobým pojetím tohoto pojmu ovlivněným pracemi Lionela Trillinga nebo Jukky Jokilehta.

A reconstruction of the School of Architecture AVU building (1919–1924), Prague, by Jan Kotěra and Josef Gočár, completed 2019, is connected with the idea of the „relative“ authenticity of its author, Marcela Steinbachová. The paper follows a history of the term of authenticity via John Ruskin and Alois Riegl to the contemporary conceptions of this term influenced by the works of Lionel Trilling or Jukka Jokilehto.
