Kritický katalog představuje výstavu „TGM na síti“, která se konala v Praze v roce 2020. Katalog obsahuje kritické studie, které nastiňují způsoby Masarykovy komunikace. Výstava přibližovala Tomáše G. Masaryka ve specifických komunikačních fenoménech, jakými jsou práce s informacemi, nastolování agendy, konspirační teorie, manipulace veřejným míněním, lobbing, propaganda nebo komunikace prezidenta republiky či způsob dorozumívání se v rodině. Úvodní text katalogu portrétuje Masaryka jako influencera. Další studie přináší přehled osudů Masarykovy korespondence, včetně jejího zpřístupnění a kritického zpracování. Třetí esej na příkladu Masarykovy prominentní osobnosti ukazuje možnosti výzkumu networkingu. Závěrečná studie představuje Masarykovu korespondenci v kontextu rozvoje digital humanities.

The exhibition catalogue presents the exhibition “The Network of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk”, which took place in Prague in 2020. The catalogue contains critical studies which outline the methods of Masaryk’s communication. The exhibition presented Masaryk in specific communication phenomena, such as outlining agendas, conspiracy theories, manipulating public opinion, lobbying, propaganda, communication of the president and in the family. The introductory text of the catalogue portrays Masaryk as an influencer. The next study presents him as the author as well as the recipient of various correspondence and explains how it has been preserved both by Masaryk himself and by the institutions which were entrusted with keeping his private archives. The third essay takes the example of the prominent figure of Masaryk to present the potential for research into communication networks. The closing study puts Masaryk’s correspondence into the context of the development of the digital humanities.
