Interactions between aerosol and clouds were studied at the observatory located on the top of the Milešovka Mtn. in Czechia. At the station, meteorological data and measurements on fog/cloud characterization are available. For the description of the aerosol, PNSD were measured using SMPS and APS. The sampling system consisted of a heated whole air inlet (WAI), and PM2.5 sampling head. From the difference between WAI and PM2.5 data, the activated PNSD (aPNSD) were calculated. The aPNSD were used for activated fraction (AF) calculation, i.e. a size-dependent share of activated particles to all particles available. The largest changes in aPNSD and AF were found within the first three hours of a cloud episode duration, with activation shifting to the smaller particles. Later, the situations become stable, with steady state value varying between 200 and 300 nm. The 10 minute data will be also fitted and compared to cloud activation duration etc.
