Der Bericht bietet einen Überblick über die Geschichte und Gegenwart des Instituts für Ethnologie der Akademie der Wissenschaften der Tschechischen Republik und beschreibt Sammlungen und Veröffentlichungen des Instituts zu deutsch-tschechischen Themen und Zusammenarbeit des Instituts mit Institutionen in Deutschland nach 1989. Es wird auch auf Themen für mögliche zukünftige Kooperationen aufmerksam gemacht.

The article deals with history and present of the Institute of Ethnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences and describes its collections and publications on German-Czech topics and cooperation of the Institute of Ethnology with different institutions in Germany after 1989. The article shows also possibilities for future co-operations.
