Příspěvek shrnuje údaje o společenstvech mnohonožek, stonožek a suchozemských stejnonožců získaných metodou zemních pastí v letech 1979–1980 v údolí Příčního potoka nedaleko Božic u Znojma. Celkem bylo v PR Karlov a okolních lesních stanovištích zaznamenáno 9 druhů mnohonožek, 11 druhů stonožek a 4 druhy suchozemských stejnonožců. S výjimkou stonožek se druhová bohatost studovaných skupin v PR Karlov významně nelišila od ostatních monitorovaných stanovišť. Výskyt mnohonožek Cylindroiulus boleti a Unciger transsilvanicus je charakteristický pro lesní porosty v regionech jižní Moravy. Výsledky vypovídají o skladbě lokální fauny dlouhodobě přežívající v lesních fragmentech v otevřené zemědělské krajině.

Data about the assemblages of millipedes, centipedes and terrestrial isopods based on the pitfall trapping in 1979–1980 are summarised and discussed in this contribution. In total 9 species of millipedes, 11 species of centipedes and 4 species of terrestrial isopods were recorded at four forest stands in the valley of the Příční Brook near Božice u Znojma Village, South Moravia, the Czech Republic. Except for centipedes, the species richness of the forest growth in the Karlov Nature Reserve did not substantially differ from the other two monitored forest stands. The occurrence of the millipedes Cylindroiulus boleti and Unciger transsilvanicus as the only representative of this genus, similarly as in the nearby Pálava region, is characteristic for forest stands in the region of Southern Moravia. The results demonstrate the composition of local fauna surviving in forest fragments in open agricultural landscape.
