In this chapter, we discuss xenotransplantations used to study the properties of human colorectal cancer. The text provides an overview of available immunodeficient mouse strains, sample application methods, and the most common sites for application of colorectal tumor samples. In addition, the advantages and disadvantages of administration using standardized cell lines, tumor organoids, or fresh patient samples are described.
