The conference took place from June 25 to July 1, 2017, in Valtice Castle in the Czech Republic. This meeting was devoted also to the 66 anniversary of Jozef Brestenský and Pavel Hejda, who organised previous dynamo conferences. The topics of the conference covered hydromagnetic dynamos, magnetoconvection and various hydromagnetic processes, all of which occur in the Earth and planetary cores, in the Sun and other stars, in galaxies, in accretion discs and other astrophysical objects, as well as in laboratory hydromagnetic and dynamo experiments.
