The guidebook captures the dynamic development of modern art and avant-garde movements in Central Europe from 1908 to 1928. Consisting of twelve thematic units, it offers a wide survay of the main aereas in which the contemporary thought in visual arts was transformed – from the framed picture, sculpture and drawing to typographic design, photomontage, photogram, picture poems, film sketches and to the transnational web of art journals.
