Chimpanzees have wide distribution and inhabit various ecosystems. In this chapter we describe differences between parasite fauna of savanna and forest chimpanzees, differences between sanctuary and wild chimpanzees. We mention self-medication abilities of chimpanzees and list the most important parasite taxa occuring in chimpanzees. We detect the gaps in our knowledge of parasites of chimpanzees.
