Příspěvek je založen na relativně novém žánru elektronické komunikace, on-line sportovních přenosech (v angličtině např. on-line sports reporting, live text commentary or minute-by-minute match report). Jde o hybridní žánr, ve kterém se spojuje chronologicky strukturovaný narativ (zachycující události sportovního utkání minutu po minutě), hodnotící výroky komentátora (hodnocení často expresivní, subjektivní, humorná) i jeho fiktivní dialog, implicitní kontakt se čtenáři. Texty tak plní informativní funkci (poskytování faktických informací) i funkci zábavnou (typický infotainment).
Úvodní charakteristika žánru je založena na četných pracích Jana Chovance (2006, 2008a,b, 2009a, b, 2011, 2015), ale na rozdíl od jeho rozborů se tento příspěvek orientuje na sportovní přenosy české (nejen z fotbalu, ale i dalších sportů, hlavně hokeje a tenisu) a na užívání termínů, profesionalismů a slangových výrazů ve vyjadřování komentátorů. Srovnávání charakteristik těchto výrazů v českých a slovenských slovnících potvrzuje, jak obtížné je zařazování jednotlivých lexémů do uvedených skupin, a v češtině rovněž jejich klasifikace z hlediska spisovnosti, hovorovosti atd.

This contribution is focused on a relatively new genre of computer-mediated communication, on-line sports reporting (also known by other names such as live text commentary or minute-by-minute match report). This is a hybrid genre which combines a chronologically structured narrative (capturing the events of the sporting match minute-by-minute) and the commentator’s evaluative formulations (evaluations which are often expressive and subjective, funny and humorous statements) as well as his implicit contact with the audience (fictitious dialogue). It thus fulfills both the informative function (providing factual information) and the entertainment one (as typical infotainment).
The introductory characterization of the genre is based on the work of Jan Chovanec (2006, 2008a,b, 2009a, b, 2011, 2015), but unlike in his work, it focuses on Czech live text commentary (mainly from soccer, hockey and tennis matches) and on the terms, non-standard professional vocabulary units and slang expressions in the commentators’ speech. Significant attention has been devoted to these levels of the lexicon in Czech and Slovak linguistics, however, the genre in question once again confirms how difficult it is to distinguish between them. For example, the combination of individual expressions (or entire language levels) with standard, “colloquial” or non-standard Czech appears to be very problematic in this respect.
