This thesis deals with hybrid nanoparticles of magnetic oxides and their application in medicine, analytical chemistry, and other fields. Studied materials involve several different core-shell structured nanoparticles with magnetic cores based on perovskite phase of general formula La(1-x)SrxMnO3 and manganese or zinc substituted ferrites. First class of nanoparticles represents magnetic cores embedded into shell of amorphous silica or amorphous titanium dioxide. Another group of core-shell nanostructures is represented by particles of Zn and Mn-Zn ferrites modified with gold shell which was prepared by a seed-and-growth procedure. Finally, the last class of prepared nanoparticles represents Zn ferrite modified with carbon shell that was prepared by a low-temperature pyrolysis of organic precursors.
