Die internationale Tagung reflektierte das Thema der konfessionellen Geschichtsschreibung in der protestantischen Kulturen in der Zeit von der Reformation bis zur protestantischen Orthodoxie. Neben der Geschichtsschreibung in der Brüder-Unität einschließlich Johann Amos Comenius wurde die Aufmerksamkeit auch den lutherischen und reformierten Konfessionskulturen gewidmet.

The organized international conference reflected the topic of the confessional historiography in the protestant Cultures in the period from Reformation to the protestant Orthodoxy. In addition to Historiography of the Bohemian Brethren including John Amos Comenius were the attention also the Lutheran and Reformed confessional Cultures devoted.
