The Article Circular Courtyards in Central Europe notes in particular the publications from Sebastiano Serlio and Pietro Cataneo, which have influenced architecture of the sixteenth century, such as Hvězda/Star Summer Palace in Prague. An interesting group is formed by sacred buildings with circular cloisters of the 17th and 18th centuries – pilgrimage places Hejnice, Bohosudov, Křtiny, Zelená Hora and Waldsassen.
