Na přelomu 19. a 20. století se utvářel český anarchismus jako hnutí postupně ve dvou podobách. V jedné akcentoval praktickou stránku hnutí v dělnickém zázemí jako podobu stávkového hnutí, odborové solidarity a přímého nezprostředkovaného nátlaku v podobě anarchosyndikalismu – jako pěst hnutí. Ve druhé podobě se formoval jako intelektuálně teoretizující orientace ke svobodě individua a společnosti, jako komplementární součást anarchistického hnutí – jako jeho mozek.

At the turn of the 19th and 20th Century the Czech anarchism has shaped as a movement successively in two forms. In one it has accentuated the practical side of the movement in the working class background as the form of the strike movement, the union solidarity and direct, non-mediated coercion, in the form of anarcho-syndikalism – like a fist of the movement. In the second form is shaped as intellectually orientation which rather theorise about the way to the freedom of individuals and society, so movement as a complementary part of the Czech anarchism – as a brain of the whole of movement.
