Studie se zaměřuje na hiphopové texty z pohledu literární vědy. Nejprve se zamýšlí nad vztahem subkultury a textu. Následuje stručné shrnutí vývoje českých hiphopových textů. Ústřední část studie se zabývá analýzou textu písně Smichov - Újezd Vladimira 518. Klíčové je přitom zaměření na charakteristické topoi hiphopových textů, jejich narativitu a jazyková specifika.

This article is concerned with hip hop lyrics from the standpoint of literary studies. At the general level, it considers the question of the relationship between (sub)culture and text. It then provides a brief overview of the historical development of Czech hip-hop lyrics. This is followed by the main part of the article, an analysis of the lyrics of the song 'Smichov - Újezd' by Vladimir 518, in which the author concentrates on characteristic topoi of Czech hip hop and on its narrative, linguistic, and other poetic approaches.
