LinX is a Java language-based program designed for fast assignment, evaluation, and validation of large mass spectrometric datasets especially from chemical cross-linking experiments. It is highly suitable for wide range of users for it’s simple and intuitive GUI, as well as the maximal independence on mass spectrometric instrument or software. Based on the inserted protein sequence/s, LinX calculates the theoretical library of all possible peptides and compares the library with a list of deconvoluted mass spectrometric data. LinX is accessible for free use through the web site
