This collaborative research focuses on a simulation of mixing of plasma species inside the discharge and in the near outlet regions of the hybrid–stabilized argon–water electric arc. The so called combined diffusion coefficients method was applied here to study the mixing processes. Diffusions due to all possible physical mechanisms are taken into account. Special attention is paid to comparison with our former model based on the homogeneous mixing assumption and with available experiments.
