The 22nd International Congress of Chemical and Process Engineering CHISA 2016 held in Prague, the Czech Republic, from 27 to 31 August 2016, confirmed its credentials as one of the leading venues for academic and industrial communities, covering a wide range of chemical engineering topics and offering many interdisciplinary links to modern process industries. The programme included standard general sessions and many specialised symposia (see www.chisa.cz/2016 or the general website www.chisa.cz). Participants were engaged in the intensive exchange of research results, discussions, and new joint project building.
