Der Essay betrachtet polnische Debatten über Geschichtspolitik und auf welche Weise darin die Nationalgeschichte dargestellt werden sollte. Er diskutiert aber auch persönliche Angriffe auf Historiker, deren Ansichten von den geschichtspolitischen Vorstellungen der Regierungspartei abweichen.
This essay considers the Polish debates on the politics of memory (Geschichtspolitik) and how it should present national history, and also discusses personal attacks in the Polish press on historians who do not comply with the ruling party’s vision of the politics of memory.
