Paper describes the investigation of the luminescence of Sc3+ anda La3+ isoelectronic impurities in Y2SiO5 (YSO) single crystalline films (SCF), grown by the liquid phase epitaxy method (LPE), and in the powder analogs of these compounds prepared using the ceramic technology.
