Ústav dějin umění AV ČR, sdružení Omnium a město Horní Jiřetín ve spolupráci s univerzitními ústavy a katedrami připravily mezinárodní konferenci věnovanou problematice krajiny a venkova v 17. a 18. století. Obsah konference se zaměřil nejen na různé aspekty utváření a vnímání krajiny, venkovské architektury a umění na venkově v období raného novověku, ale byl věnován také současným hrozbám jejich devastace.

The Institute of Art History of the Czech Academy of Sciences, the Omnium Association and the Town of Horní Jiřetín, in cooperation with the Departments of art history of the Czech universities, organized an international conference devoted to questions of landscape and countryside in the 17th and 18th centuries. The conference has been focused on different aspects of formation and conception of the landscape and rural architecture and arts in the early modern era, but also on their present-day devastation.
