Publikace si klade za cíl seznámit čtenáře se současným stavem diskusí o svobodě vůle a o jejím vztahu k problému morální a právní odpovědnosti. V první půli publikace se věnujeme filosofickým aspektům diskusí o svobodě vůle. V druhé polovině publikace se tážeme, jaký dopad má existence či neexistence svobody vůle na principy trestního a soukromého práva.

The publication aims to acquaint the reader with the current state of the discussions about freedom of the will and its relation to the issue of moral and legal responsibility. The first half of the publication is dedicated to the philosophical aspects of the debate about freedom of the will. In the second half of the publication we ask what is the impact that the existence or absence of freedom of the will has on the principles of criminal and civil law.
