Příspěvek sleduje teoretické zázemí obou umělců a jejich názorovou blízkost. Zabývá se Hofmanovou studií Duch přeměny v umění výtvarném, kterou tehdy napsal za nepřítomného Kubištu do Almanachu na rok 1914, a připomíná Kubištův zájem o účast na generačním vystoupení progresivně orientovaných umělců.

This essay discusses the similarities of opinion between the artists Vlastislav Hofman and Bohumil Kubišta as well as the proximity of their views on the theoretical foundations of modern art. It focuses on the study "The Spirit of Transformation in the Fine Arts", which Hofman contributed in Kubišta´s absence to the "Almanach na rok 1914"; it also recalls Kubišta´s interest in a collective presentation of progressive artists.
