Nanofiber scaffolds have beem proved as sutable carriers of stem cells for cell-based therapy. To attenuate a harmful immune reaction occurring after stem cell transplantation, various immunosuppressive drugs have been administered. For a local immunosuppression, a delivery of immunosuppressive drugs by a drug-loaded nanofibers have turned out to be a promising approach. In this aticle, the preparation and the use of cyclosporine-A loaded nanofibers is described.
