Jaromír Neumann is known in the Czech art history not only as the author of key texts on the Baroque art but also as an erudite expert of Renaissance painting in connection with the discovery of paintings at Prague Castle in early 1960s and studies on Rudolfine Mannerism. His personal bibliography regarding the Rudolfine issue was assembled.
