The goal of this contribution is to present new experimental data on the effect of approach velocity and electrolytes on pairwise coalescence. Our experiments showed that for low concentration of electrolytes like in freshwater all bubbles coalesced and the contact time is independent on electrolyte and its concentration. For high concentration of electrolyte like in sea no coalesence occured and the contact time was also independent on the electrolyte.
