The 13^th Central European Workshop on Soil Zoology was held on April 13-15, 2015 in České Budějovice. In total 40 participants (28 of them from abroad) presented their lectures and posters. They dealt with the taxonomy of soil fauna, methodology of soil zoological research, the composition and changes of soil animal communities in natural and in man-made or modified ecosystems, biogeography and diversity of soil fauna as well as with some specific aspects of biology, ecology and physiology of selected groups if invertebrates inhabiting soil environment.
