Critical supersaturation, when first nuclei are detected within system, and also maximum size of nuclei formed within system, depend on the droplet volume. Supercritical clusters continue in their growth only if the number of critical nuclei is sufficiently high. Moreover, in very small volumes nucleation kinetics differs from standard model due to depletion of the parent phase.
