    Some cyanobacterial taxa are cultivation-resistant and their phylogenetic relations to other taxa were unclear. By application of single-cell and single-filament sequencing we were able to get the DNA for 16S rDNA gene sequencing of members of gnera Stigonema, and Petalonema. It was demostrated, that uniseriate and polyseriate species of Stigonema do not present discrete lineages.
