    It was described that variation in the embryonic light environment is predictable from the externally and easily obtained measures of eggshell size and pigmentation. It can be propose that these findings will provide a key comparison towards investigating, and answering, one of the most perplexing questions in the evolution of avian eggshell pigmentation; the prevalence of conspicuous blue eggs in small passerines
