The paper shown the importance ogf mowing date for the population of hemiparasitic species Rhinanthus minor. It demonstrated that the species is probably declining in its distribution in response to the earlier mowing dates, and discuss possibilities to preserve the populations of this species in the light of recent Agri-Environmental measures.
