Die Studie befasst sich mit der gesellschaftlichen Situation in der Tschechoslowakei am Ende der 1980er Jahre. Sie thematisiert den Zerfall des „sozialen Konsenses“ und die grundsätzliche Veränderung des gesellschaftlichen Klimas, die deutlich zum Zusammenbruch des kommunistischen Regimes in der Tschechoslowakei beitrug.

The study focuses on the social situation in Czechoslovakia in the late 80s. Follows the disintegration of "social consensus" and the fundamental change in the social climate, which was an important reason for the fall of the communist regime in Czechoslovakia.
