The aim of this study is to contribute to increasing the knowledge of PM10 aerosol composition in Central Europe. In this connection, we should state that until recently PM10 mass and several trace elements and poly-aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) present only in trace amount are measured for regulátory purposes and therefore the main part of PM10 mass is not analysed regularly.
