The comparison of the observed series of celestial pole offsets (CPO) and integrated atmospheric and oceanic excitation functions fitted on the different intervals corresponding with the epochs of geomagnetic jerks, major earthquakes in the last decade and natural or systematic jumps in the observed CPOs is performed.
