In this Paper, the design of wide frequency range noise shield is presented. The noise suppression effect in the considered noise shield is achieved by increasing flexural rigidity of the planar glass plate, which is carried out by two means: first, by increasing the curvature of the plate, and, second, by attaching the macro fiber composite actuators on the plate surface and connecting them to the active shunt circuit that has a negative capacitance. Using this approach, the possibility to accomplish an increase in the value of acoustic transmission loss through the glass window by approximately 10 dB has been recently demonstrated. Unfortunately, these values have been gained only in a narrow frequency range. In this work, the fabrication of the improved noise shielding system has been carried out. Acoustic properties of the system are evaluated using acoustic transmission loss measurements. We demonstrate that using our approach, it is possible to create a system for broad
