Příspěvek se zabývá dlouhodobě zkoumaným oppidem Staré Hradisko na Moravě, které reprezentovalo významnou lokalitu s centrálními funkcemi pozdní doby laténské. Cílem je analyzovat a interpretovat jeho prostorovou strukturu na příkladu ohrazeného dvorce, v úplnosti prozkoumaného J. Medunou a M. Čižmářem. Zástavba je vyhodnocena z architektonického a funkčního hlediska. Tyto výsledky jsou posléze použity pro zhodnocení úrovně urbanizace oppida, podle modelu nedávno formulovaného německými badateli a provedeného na příkladu oppida Manching. V závěru je argumentováno, že oppida sice neznamenají počátek urbanizačního procesu doby laténské, nicméně dále rozvíjejí tento trend, jak je možné sledovat v architektuře, spektru specializovaných činností a komerčních aktivit.

The paper deals with Staré Hradisko, the long investigated oppidum in Moravia, which represented an important settlement with central functions during the late La Tène period. The aim is to analyse and interpret the spatial structure on the example of the enclosed farmstead, fully excavated by J. Meduna and M. Čižmář. The development of its spatial structure is evaluated from the architectural and functional point of view. The results are then used to assess the level of urbanisation of Staré Hradisko, basing on the model recently formulated by research group of German Archaeological Institute (DAI) that was applied on the oppidum of Manching. Finally, it is argued that although oppida did not represent the beginning of the urbanisation process of the La Tène period, they certainly built further on this trend, as can be seen in the architecture, range of specialized activities and commercial activities.
