Atmosférická stanice Křešín u Pacova, jejíž součástí je nový příhradový kotvený stožár o výšce 250 m určený výhradně pro vědecké účely, byla vybudována v období 6/2012–6/2013. Je součástí projektu CzechGlobe (Centrum výzkumu globální změny), který se zaměřuje na zkoumání změn klimatu v České republice.

The atmospheric station at Křešín u Pacova was built during the period 6/2012–6/2013. It is a part of the project CzechGlobe (The Global Change Research Centre) which focuses on the examination of global climate changes in the Czech Republic. It includes a new guyed latticed mast of 250 m consisting of three-side latticed all-welded parts made of S355 steel. The mast was designed in line with the applicable European standards using newly developed software. New structure design solutions were applied here, such as for the rope tightening device. The mast is the first structure of its kind and importance in the Czech Republic after more than thirty years.
